Twitter’s Emerging SEO Benefits and Link Building Opportunities

Twitter can now be used to rank easily for longtails, competitive keywords, your name..the list goes on. Building up related friends and followers will help keep your profile indexed and on the rise.

As of the past few days it has been known that Twitter changed the title tags around to OUR benefit and I think all you folks will be happy to start playing around with this.

Just last night he also noticed that Twitter search queries were showing up in the serps, and some of them were ranking very well for difficult keywords. He wrapped this up in his post which also gets into how you can build dofollow links with your Twitter profile from the growing number of Twitter related sites coming out.

So has anyone else used Twitter for affiliate marketing? He won’t name the site here, but he does run an Ecommerce shop, managed to get the Twitter profile for one of the top keywords, and now it’s ranking top 10 in Google. He has been monitoring sales coming through the account over the year and it’s been beyond any of his expectations.
